LADIES' CAPTAIN'S MESSAGE

I must be honest I'm not a computer buff, but after a stern look from Kevin today, asking if I had looked at the Bromley IBC website, I went straight home and into Google and there it was! (Well I guess you must have found it too as you're reading this!)

Well I think it's great, so much information, colourful pictures, the works!. So do come back often.

I'm really enjoying being captain this season. Everyone is so helpful, I have two great helpers with my vice Captain Edna, and Sue our junior vice captain, who are always there at hand, to keep me on the straight and narrow: I love them dearly. My ladies' committee are always at hand too, which I appreciate, and Men's captain Terry and his committee, well we all get along just great, what more could I want! (although I think I do twist his arm a little at times, Ha!).

Our Captain's Day v Vice Captain's match seem to go down pretty well, we had 'Noses verses the animals', a lot of fun and laughter was heard, and a close and enjoyable match was played, with the result: Captain 100, Vice Captain 99. I believe the captain won by a nose, ho hum!

Please take note, our Ladies' Captain verses Men's Captain's match has now been postponed, as we hope to be playing in the Yetton Plate. The revised date for this is now the 5th March 2008, 2:00pm for 2:30.

Put your names down girls, as we are coming out with Guns-a-blazing! Men's Captain, 'Be very afraid!'

Best Wishes to you all,

Brenda James
